Botanical Imprint Casting

My studio is currently full of flowers and clay as I create beautiful tactile bas-relief artworks using an ancient method called imprint casting. It’s a press-mould technique dating back thousands of years, where I arrange and press real flowers and foliage into clay, pick out the flowers and fill the impression with plaster—preserving the flower’s impression as permanent art.
